In the depths of the nightworld the soul whispers its longings to us. In its language of riddles, our soul meets the world soul, and together they weave their wily way with the dream-ego of us, leaving our dayworld shape bewildered by these glimmerings in the dark. 

Totnes Dream Cafe is a space where we will gather as a small group to unravel the numinous bundle revealing itself through the soul-speak of images, symbols and emotions. We will co-create a tender and brave-space for the soul to further awaken to its potential. 

When we are willing to be vulnerable and available to our dreams/ Mystery in this way we expand our capacity to welcome and befriend the parts of us that Modernity has rejected and we fall deeper into the arms of Earth’s belonging.

As an intrepid traveller of the dream~stream you will be supported to unearth the gifts hidden in the soil of psyche. Unlike most dream work, instead of analysis, interpretation or meaning-making, we will actively surrender to being marinated in the particularity of the nightworld’s landscapes, architecture and ambience. We’ll draw on a range of modalities to dialogue with the dream itself, including embodiment, movement, deep imagery, parts work, shadow work, creative arts, cross-species communication and invitations for wanders on the land.

You are invited to bring a ‘fresh’ dream, or fragment of a dream; a dream which creates curiosity such that you’d like to enter into deeper relationship with it. It doesn’t have to be a ‘special’ dream; often the ones we consider insignificant are the ones that are most potent. 

If you don’t have a dream or dream fragment you are still welcome. Being a witness to this kind of dreamwork can be a rich and profound experience and support our own journey with our dreams, psyche and soul.

Join us to be deepened by the nuane and mystery of your dreams as a movement towards living as the dream of the Earth, which is to say, a more authentic, alive and loving version of yourself.

Each Dream Cafe will be hosted by Rebecca Card and/or Claire Milne who have each been intensively training and apprenticing with Animas Valley Institute, and its founder Bill Plotkin, for many years, alongside multiple other inter-woven lineages including embodied awakening, shadow work, authentic movement, Work that Reconnects, Process Work/-oriented psycho-therapy and Body-Mind Centering.

You can book any of these sessions as far in advance as you like - please note they tend to become fully booked in the days before each session so it is wise to book ahead of this.
